IT Support & Administration

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Support & System Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience in managing IT systems, networks, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including servers, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Active Directory and other systems.
• Monitor system performance, security, and backups to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain and support cloud-based applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, etc.).
• Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus solutions, and access controls.
• Set up and manage IT infrastructure, including routers, switches, and VPNs.
• Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations for reference.
• Work with vendors and third-party providers for IT-related services and hardware procurement.
• Stay updated with the latest IT trends and cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Experience with IT service management tools and remote support software.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CCNA are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IT security policies and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
