Networking & Cloud Computing

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Networking & Cloud Computing Specialist to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in networking, cloud platforms, security, and system administration to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Configure and manage cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement and monitor cloud security measures to ensure compliance and data protection.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
• Manage virtual machines, storage, and databases in cloud environments.
• Automate deployments and system administration tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery solutions for both on-premises and cloud systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance network security and implement best practices.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in networking and cloud computing roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with network security tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs).
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
